Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ensure your event runs smoothly, safely, and with the best experience possible. By booking, you agree to the following:

1. Bookings & Payments

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining 50% is due 7 days before the event.
  • Your booking is only confirmed once full payment is received.
  • If the remaining balance is not paid on time, the booking may be cancelled and the deposit retained.
  • Payment options: Bank Transfer, PayID, PayPal.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancelling more than 7 days before the event: any amount paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.
  • Cancelling within 7 days of the event: no refund applies.
  • If we must cancel for any reason, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

3. Space & Venue Requirements (Client Responsibility)

To ensure safety and comfort for all participants:

Minimum Space:

  • Allow 2m x 2m per person (room for a mat + movement).

Surface Conditions:

  • Must be flat, even, dry, and clean.
  • Free from clutter, breakables, hazards, or tripping risks.

Outdoor Spaces:

  • Grass must be short, level, and dry (no mud or long grass).
  • A backup indoor or undercover space is required in case of rain or unsuitable ground conditions.

Environment:

  • Adequate lighting and ventilation.
  • Area must be free of pets and unsupervised children during the session.

Access:

  • Safe and convenient access for unloading equipment.
  • Power access required if music is being used (unless agreed otherwise).

If the space is deemed unsafe or unsuitable on arrival, the session may not proceed and no refund will be provided.

4. Travel

Travel is included within 20km of Mermaid Waters, Gold Coast.
Travel fees apply beyond this and will be quoted prior to confirming your booking.

5. Equipment

  • All equipment is provided for your session.
  • Please ensure it is respected and used appropriately.
  • Damage caused by misuse or negligence may incur replacement fees.

6. Health & Safety

  • All participants must complete a waiver before the class begins.
  • Please advise us of any injuries, pregnancies, or medical conditions in advance.
  • Participation is at each individual’s own risk.
  • The trainer may modify or restrict exercises to ensure safety.

7. Alcohol & Substances

  • No alcohol before or during the workout.
  • Alcohol may be enjoyed after your session.
  • Participants must not attend under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • The trainer may stop the class if safety is at risk (no refund).

8. Group Size

  • Minimum charge is based on 6 participants.
  • Groups of 4–5 are welcome at the 6-person pricing.
  • Maximum 15 participants, depending on space available.

9. Weather Policy (Outdoor Events)

  • If no undercover backup space is provided and weather prevents the session from running, the standard cancellation policy applies.
  • No refunds due to weather if no backup venue is available.

10. Photography Permission

We may take photos or short videos to capture your event.

  • If you prefer your group not to be photographed, just let us know before the class begins.

11. Conduct & Respect

  • Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.
  • The trainer may end the session if behaviour becomes disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful (no refund).

12. Liability Acknowledgement

By booking, you understand that:

  • Exercise carries inherent physical risk.
  • The trainer is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions, undisclosed medical conditions, or unsafe venue conditions outside our control.
